If physicians Hippocrates and the ancient Greeks already resorted to spinal manipulation, it is Daniel David Palmer (1845-1913) which is attributed the discovery of Chiropractic in 1895, the United States.

The term “Chiropractic” is derived from the Greek “cheir” and “praxis” which respectively mean ” hand and put into action.”

On September 18, 1895, Harvey Lillard was the first chiropractic patient. He suffered from deafness for 17 years, DD Palmer examined him and gave him a quick movement of a vertebra, called “adjustment”. Mr. Lillard regained hearing.

DD Palmer was convinced that the diseases are often caused by vertebral subluxations, lead to an interruption of nerve impulses, and that by correcting these subluxations, the body can heal itself.

In 1997, the Association of Chiropractic Colleges , representing 16 chiropractic colleges in North America, defines a subluxation as a set of joint changes, functional or pathological conditions that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and overall health.

Chiropractic today is the first profession of Health manual in the world.

He said parents should avoid buying their children’s a smartphone until they are at least 15 and limit computer use to an hour or two a day.

“It is very hard to prevent children from accessing damaging material through the computer, but the main issue is that children spend far too long on computers and, as a result, they are not doing the two things that we want [them] to do, which are reading and conversation.” Read More >>
